Isherveer's Tech Services ROTORUA, NZ

Computer & IT support

Fast help with computers, WiFi, printers, and smart TVs in Rotorua homes and small businesses. Practical fixes, not a sales pitch for things you don't need.

What's included

Troubleshooting

Slow, crashing, overheating, or just "acting up" — I diagnose the actual cause before touching anything, and tell you what's wrong in plain language.

RAM & storage upgrades

More memory or a swap from a hard drive to an SSD — usually the single biggest speed upgrade an older laptop or PC can get.

WiFi & network setup

Dead spots, dropped connections, new router setup — sorted so it stays working after I leave, not just while I'm standing there.

Printers & smart TVs

Getting devices talking to your network properly, driver and app setup, and troubleshooting the ones that have stopped cooperating.

General hardware maintenance

Dust cleanout, thermal paste, loose connections, failing components — the physical-upkeep side most people skip until something dies.

Plain-language advice

If a repair isn't worth it, I'll say so. Not every old machine needs saving, and I'd rather tell you that upfront than bill for it.

How it works

1. Message meDescribe the problem (or send a photo/video of what's happening) via Facebook Messenger or the contact form — I'll ask a few questions and give a rough idea of cost before anything is booked.
2. I come to youMost jobs are done at your home or business in Rotorua, so your setup doesn't need to go anywhere.
3. Fixed & explainedI'll walk you through what was wrong and what I did, in plain language — not just "it's fixed now."

Background

I'm a first-year Computer Science student at the University of Waikato, and I run my own home server environment — a Docker-based setup handling photo backup, network-wide filtering, and automated backups day to day. I've also completed Microsoft AI Skills and AWS Cloud Practitioner coursework. None of that is required to fix a slow laptop, but it's the kind of hands-on background that means I actually understand what I'm looking at.
