Custom 3D printing
Small, useful objects — toys, pencil holders, desk tools, mounts, and replacement parts — designed from your idea or measurements and printed locally in Rotorua.
How a custom print works
| 1. Tell me the problem | A photo, a measurement, or just "I need something that does X" — send it over and I'll tell you honestly whether it's a quick job or needs more design work. |
| 2. I model it | Designed to fit using OpenSCAD or direct mesh work, sized and toleranced for a real push-fit or snap-fit — not just scaled off a guess. |
| 3. Print, test, refine | Most custom parts get at least one test print and fit-check before the final one, especially anything that has to clip, screw, or mount onto something existing. |

Not every idea is a good fit for FDM printing — very large pieces, anything needing tight waterproof seals, or fine jewellery-level detail usually aren't. Send me the idea and I'll say upfront if it's a better fit for printing, or for a different approach entirely.
